Technology Solutions Manager

Precision Solutions Department

Provide expertise at the dealership, promoting precision technology and data acquisition. Build credibility with our customers and empower dealership personnel to participate in the development of comprehensive value solutions. Train and develop dealership personnel to assist in identifying and promoting the value of proven solutions. Collaborate with customers and their third-party advisors to identify opportunities and ensure alignment and support.

  • Strategize with customers on best practices and acquire data to ensure smarter decisions and efficient machine use based on the needs of their operations.
  • Assists the dealership Precision Solutions department in developing key services to support job optimization.
  • Promotes understanding across the dealership of the latest production practices and their overall impact, including crop production systems, regulations, production data layers and key attributes, etc.
  • Works with customers to ensure quality data capture, proper machine set-up and proper delivery of third-party’s recommendations.
  • Remains current on production practices, latest trends, and changes in regulations.
  • Identifies precision products and data solutions for mainstreaming throughout the dealership.
  • Promotes the adoption of new technology and product offerings with our customers and staff.
  • Provide solutions-based business consulting services to customers (i.e. advising customers on optimizing performance, reducing costs, operation efficiencies, etc.)
  • Provide expertise and training to our customers and staff in the features of John Deere Operations Center and other applicable industry solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience in a data management role. Agricultural familiarity is a plus.
  • Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrates leadership, organizational, management, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to customer and store locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
