Precision Solutions Technician

Provide mechanical support for the Precision Solutions Department. Complete electrical, mechanical, plumbing, installation, and general repairs on all things related to Precision Products and Services offered by Everglades Equipment Group. Complete work orders for repairs and assist the Precision Solutions Sales team as needed.

• Diagnose issues and provide repair solutions for products and services supplied by the Precision Solutions Department.
• Assist with installation of precision systems hardware and software setup on applicable machines. Complete work orders in alignment with Everglades procedures.
• Serves as the internal and external technical specialist for all precision farming products
• Provide service calls to customers as needed
• Work with Precision Solutions Specialists for customer support and repair needs
• Provide input on future opportunities and solutions
• Utilize John Deere’s Service Advisor Software for repairs

• Knowledge and experience of agriculture equipment including sprayers and tractors
• Experience with precision agricultural equipment and solutions preferred by not required
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Able to work in the field under various environmental conditions
• Ability to use standard desktop applications and internet functions
• Ability to use the dealer’s business system and other programs specific to the position
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Must provide basic tools to complete general repairs
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
• Must be a team player, self-motivated and eager to learn
• A good attitude, courteous and respectful to customers and co-workers is a must
