False rod bucket cylinders improve productivity

The bucket cylinder design can have a major impact on this cycle time, especially for the mechanical self-leveling (MSL)&nbsp;loaders.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Therefore, all&nbsp;MSL&nbsp;M- and&nbsp;H-Series Loaders utilize false rod bucket cylinders. A false rod cylinder has a smaller displacement of oil requirement on the head end of the cylinder, which allows this cylinder to dump much faster than a normal cylinder.</p></div>

It should not be used for extended periods of time unless an appropriate support stand is also utilized.</p></div>

The parking system allows removing or attaching the loader to the tractor in minutes&nbsp;without the need for tools.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In order to remove or park the loader, apply slight down pressure to the loader boom with the bucket dumped at approximately a 30-degree angle. This has sometimes been difficult to accomplish and is&nbsp;also the reason why a coupling system was not offered on some tractors.<br><br> Now the ability to relieve the hydraulic oil system pressure is included with the single-point hydraulic connection, which allows for&nbsp;easily disconnecting both hydraulic and electrical lines to the loader from a convenient location with virtually no oil loss.</p></div>

The hood guard is designed to allow for the maximum amount of reach while protecting the hood and grille from falling objects. The hood guard also helps to protect the front of the tractor from impacts with wagons or feed mixers or whatever is being loaded.

The hood guard folds down to allow the hood to open, allowing access to service areas.

When using the tractor without a loader, a maximum of 12 front weights can be used with the hood guard installed on 8R and 8030 Series Tractors.

There is no dedicated loader valve such as an independent control valve for the loader. The hydraulic hoses are routed from the connection point on the mounting frame to the rear tractor selective control valves (SCVs).

The loader hydraulic hoses can be connected to three rear SCVs. It is recommended that tractors be ordered with five rear SCVs when utilizing an H480 loader.

The hood guard can be mounted with or without a front weight bracket. When using the tractor without a loader, a maximum of 16 front weights can be used with the hood guard installed on 8000 and 8010 Series Tractors.

 

NOTE: BW15011 hood guard is compatible with 8020 Series Tractors without the front weight bracket. This is not recommended as the weight bracket does help prevent damage to the front of the tractor.


The tractor must be equipped with a front weight bracket in order to mount the hood guard.
When using the tractor without a loader, a maximum of 12 front weights can be used with the hood guard installed on 8020 Series Tractors.

The H480 Loader features a single-point hydraulic connection that also incorporates the connection point for any electrical needs and the ability to relieve hydraulic pressure. In order to disconnect the hydraulic connection between the loader and the tractor, it has always been necessary to relieve the hydraulic system oil pressure. This has sometimes been difficult to accomplish and is also the reason why a coupling system was not offered on some tractors.

Now the ability to relieve the hydraulic oil system pressure is included with the single-point hydraulic connection, which allows for easily disconnecting both hydraulic and electrical lines to the loader from a convenient location with virtually no oil loss.


The loader hoses are connected to the mid tractor selective control valves (SCVs).

Digging teeth can be added to the heavy-duty bucket for easier digging in hard ground or for breaking loose hard-packed materials such as manure or silage. Digging teeth are not compatible with replaceable cutting edges.

For the large-frame 7030 and 7020 Series Tractors, a cast design is utilized to provide better visibility, as a casting allows for sculpting the shape to improve sight lines.

For 8030 and 8R Series Tractors with IVT transmissions, a unique mounting frame is required in order to properly interface with the tractor frame.

Hardware is easily accessible to torque to the correct specification level. The hardware for the 8000 Series Tractors consists of a combination of studs and cones for a secure, tight fit.
